Grigliato Railing Systems What posts are available? Our railing systems are available with sq. tubular posts 2"x2" or flat steel bar posts 2-1/2"x1/2". Other styles are available upon request. Custom designs are possible. Different attachments are possible as well. Please see our download center for post details. What toprails can I use? We can provide a wide variety of toprails from simple flatbar, sq.tube round tube to wooden or aluminum toprails. What post spacing should be used? For straight railing systems we recommend a post spacing of 4'-6". The post spacing should not exceed 5'-0". For sloped (stair) railings we recommed a spacing of 3'-6" and do not recommend to exceed 4'-0". Wider spacing is possible if the system is designed to withstand the loads in accordance to local railing codes. If the system is designed with the recommended post spacing it will meet or exceed most local code requirements. Which attachment detail should be used? We recommend to use our post/spacer connections for straight panels. This connection provides more flexibility and is more cost efficient. However, the post/spacer connections is not possible for sloped (stair) panels. Please choose our bracket connection for sloped panels. See our details in the download center for more info. Are special panel shapes possible? Yes, we can provide panels in many shapes, with cutouts and even combined mesh sizes. Can curved panels be provided? Yes, the panels can be provided curved to fit almost any radius. How about custom colors? We can provide virtually any custom color adn we can match colors from provided color samples.
